Hello Friends,
In 2019, I began taking intensive classes to earn my Doctor of Ministry (DMin) degree. My hopes in obtaining this degree, are that more doors are opened for me so that I can implement projects that will help solve social problems in urban settings. Since this is an International Urban Ministry degree, my cohort is supposed to visit a designated city each year to experience a successful hands-on Urban Ministry endeavor. In 2019, I visited Chicago. In 2020, we were supposed to go to Toronto, and in 2021, we were supposed to go to New York. Due to the COVID pandemic, we ended up completing the classwork online via Zoom, without being able to have an in-person experience. This year, 2022, London is the target city chosen by the program for our learning experience.
During my first three years in the program, I had a sponsor. This fourth and final year, because of personal trials that I have gone through, I am experiencing financial challenges and am having to fundraise for my tuition, airfare, room, and board. I need to raise $8,000 for this last and final step in obtaining my DMin degree. 8k is a lot for a person to fundraise, but I am putting this out there in hopes that with your help, I can reach my goal. If 1,000 people donate $8.00, or 800 people donate $10.00, I can make it. This degree will help me be able to do work that will help humanity in their struggles and challenges in urban areas.
