Loving Well: Sarah, Lameck & Baby

Thank you for your love and support of the Huerta-Well family! The ultimate monetary goal is a very rough estimate, based on lost wages, length of hospitalization and the potential of some sort of intervention for baby (worst case scenario). It will be updated as Sarah's treatment progresses.

I am Celina - Sarah's sister - and our mom Gloria is joining me in organizing this fundraiser to support her, her husband, Lameck, and their baby as they face this time of crisis.
In the last week, Sarah and Lameck both tested positive for Covid-19. A few days ago, Sarah was taken to the hospital as she had been suffering from a lingering fever and was having trouble breathing. *This has been corrected* previously, we were under the impression that Sarah had pneumonia and the coronavirus. Sarah Does Not have pneumonia.
*This has been corrected* Our family has been under the impression that she was to remain hospitalized until the baby is born (due February). Sarah will remain in the hospital until she is Covid-free and able to breathe on her own without oxygen.
Your gift of love will help off-set the insurmountable hospital costs and other expenses that Sarah and Lameck will face. Lameck has not been able to work due to the quarantine period -a period which started before he tested positive and continues still, after testing positive. We anticipate that Sarah will not be able to work for quite some time. This is why they need all the help they can get.
The goal we are setting is a rough estimate. We don't know what the cost will actually amount to; and so the goal is based on the time Sarah might need to be hospitalized and thinking ahead of any potential intervention that may take place for the pregnancy.
