Poor African Students Need Our Help!

Donation protected

While traveling in Africa some years ago, we saw how many children were orphaned, abandoned and neglected, and swore someday to help them.

The key to these children getting out of poverty and moving up to a decent life is getting an education, especially for the girls. Most access their studies on the Internet with their phones, spending more than four hours a day online.

But access to electricity is a major challenge in Africa, particularly in rural areas. Students often struggle to accomplish their studies without Internet access, charged devices or electricity.

Here’s a short little video - “Electricity doesn’t come out of the wall in Africa” It features a primitive bicycle charging device that takes an hour of cycling to charge a phone.

There’s a much better way - a power charger charged by the sun!

We have access to a powerful solar charger called the Solar Sun Power Bank, https://solarsunpowerbank.com, which we will purchase and donate free to disadvantaged students in some of Africa's poorest communities to help them learn and grow.

These solar chargers are easy to use and easy to carry, making them ideal for girls who may have to travel long distances to school, often on bicycles.

How important is it to help these girls grow into strong, healthy, educated adults? Watch this short video and see for yourself! (1:46)

We can send a brand new Solar Sun charger to a student for $25 and are seeking $25 donations to send as many as possible. A $100 dollar donation means we can send 4, and your $1,000 donation will pay for 40 of these wonderful devices.

These power banks will be distributed through partnerships with local charities such as Develop Africa , https://www.developafrica.org . Venues are thoroughly vetted to make sure they are legitimate 503(c)(3) organizations.

Students receiving their power bank will send their donor a personalized Thank You note acknowledging receipt and their heartfelt appreciation.

"Education is the key to unlocking opportunities for disadvantaged young girls in Africa," says Earl Brown, the campaign's founder and tech charger specialist. "By providing them with solar power, we can greatly help them with their education."

Individuals and business entities who would like to help us with this wonderful cause are most welcome to join us in this campaign."
