On Saturday November 30th, 2013 Lydia Denise Bywaters was admitted to the University of Virginia Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. She was diagnosed with a rare case of infant botulism. The UVA medical staff had to fly in medications from California to treat this rare illness which alone cost $45, 000. Kyle and Geraldine Bywaters (Lydia's parents) are going to be facing a tough road ahead with medical bills and caring for Lydia during her difficult and trying recovery. They are asking for your help and donations. Every little bit will help and go towards paying for Lydia's medical expenses.
