Magnificent Minnie Pearl

Earlier this morning, Minnie Pearl's two-legged Mama, Amber, had to make the heart-breaking decision to end Minnie's suffering from liver failure.  Amber tried everything to help Minnie—veterinary visits, medication, ultrasounds, x-rays, blood tests, blood transfusions and ultimately driving her from Sneads Ferry to the NC State Veterinary Hospital in Raleigh for care.  Unfortunately nothing could provide the cure.

Minnie gave Amber so much joy, and Amber in turn took such great care of Minnie. They were a quite a pair. Minnie was also a celebrity in her own right, flooding the Internet and social media with her pug panache.

I've set up this site with the goal of helping Amber with some of the emergency expenses she incurred for Minnie's care during her last few weeks.
