Love for Joey and Family During Chemotherapy

Joey is our deeply loved and treasured son, brother, grandson, cousin, nephew, and friend. Sadly, he has been diagnosed with Stage 4B Hodgkin's lymphoma in February 2020, at the age of 17.
This cancer is a direct results of immunosuppression therapy, which Joey had to undergo because this brave and resilient young man received a heart transplant when he was only 4 months old. His lymphoma is caused by a condition called "post-transplant lymphoproliferative disorder" (PTLD).
As you can tell, Joey and his family of 5 have been through a lot, yet a smile never left his face. Joey kept up good grades while working almost full-time as a stellar employee until his diagnosis. He has been an absolute trooper through the initial chemo, despite sickness and exhaustion.
More tests and treatment are coming, and we have a strong faith in a full recovery. Joey continues to have the attitude of a fighter with the loving support of his Mom, Dad, brother, and sister. We are simply amazed by his spirit and courage.
Unfortunately, expenses add up quickly when lives are upended by a serious illness. Joey's Mom and Dad had to take significant time off work and eat out frequently, which drains savings despite all the hard work they have been putting in their whole lives.
The entire Saldi family is asking you to please support Joey and his family in taking care of finances. This is the time to come together, whether we are bonded by blood, by choice, or by chance.
