Maggie Zygo's Cancer Treatment Fund
Donation protected
On March 18, 2016, just hours before her beautiful son Jesse was born, Maggie received the diagnosis of Non-Hodgkin’s Follicular Lymphoma.
Taking care of two children - a one-year-old and an infant - is a feat in and of itself. Our Maggie is facing this challenge at the same time as her cancer treatment. The financial challenges of the treatment alone are staggering, and the Zygo family will have the additional expense of childcare during her treatment so Steve can continue to run their small business.
Your contribution will go toward her medical expenses, including treatment, doctor's visits, testing, and, if necessary, hospitalizations or in-patient treatment. Contributions may also help cover the cost of childcare during her treatment and recovery. Most importantly, it will help offset travel expenses so family members can help care for Maggie, little Julian, and baby Jesse.
Our $25,000 goal for the Zygo family is preliminary as we await news of what stage Maggie's disease is in and what her course of treatment will be. Non-Hodgkin's Follicular Cancer is treatable but is very difficult to cure. She may have a long road ahead.
Maggie has dedicated much of her life to service and caring for others. Many of us have been the beneficiaries of her generosity over the years, and I hope you will join me in supporting Maggie any way you can. Maggie and Steve will have sole, complete, and direct access to money raised by this campaign that they can immediately apply to their already growing medical expenses.
I also invite you to send messages of love and support directly to Maggie in whatever way you wish.
Thank you so much.
Sincerely,
Liz
