Seeing a child battle cancer is heartbreaking. Seeing a child fight for his life after being diagnosed at age 4 is almost unbearable.

 

Dominik Mowry-Cerna was first diagnosed with Childhood Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) just weeks ago, at only 4 years old. Doctors began treatment almost immediately following his diagnosis: just last week, surgeons installed a port in his chest that will be used to administer his Dexamethasone (a steroid) and chemo and draw blood for the next six months. Additionally, they extracted bone marrow from his hip and spinal fluid through a spinal tap.

 

Over the next 6 months (and beyond), he will need to be stronger and braver than any child should ever have to be, as will the rest of his family. Let's rally around Dominik and help him see that HE'S GOT THIS!
