Jeannie was diagnosed with VIN III Squamous Cell Carcinoma in Situ (noninvasive) cancer. The treatments and surgeries are only available to her in Vancouver, in which she will have to make numerous trips down there.
As a long time resident to Vanderhoof, many of you know her as the Karaoke lady at the Grand trunk, or now as the "crazy" post office lady, who always greats you with a smile and lovely words. As well as the kick a@$ singer for Stonefly, where they have played many venues over the years, including the ever popular Concert in the Park and Ice off Dance in previous years
I know her as my oldest sister, one of my dear friends and advisors.
She has been a constant source of love and light for us all, and this is a chance for us to give something back to her! <3
