Through out the years, I have contemplated on what is the FOUNDATION for success in one's life. At this juncture in my life, I believe, I have the answer:).
The FOUNDATION for success in anything in life is for one to have CONFIDENCE in who they are. To be COMFORTABLE in one's own skin.
This comes with LOVE & NURTURING from our caregivers in the EARLY years of life.
You see, our book of life has been written by the time we are conceived. The DNA inherited from our parents has already been determined with our physical characteristics, personality, and genetic predispositions to certain diseases, etc. BEFORE WE ARE BORN!

What is required for the DNA to blossom to its' maximum potential is LOVE. Regardless of where we are born and to whom, ALL of us need love and nurture to build the self confidence required to maximize on our authentically given talents and potential.

I have recently joined the San Diego Harbor Police Foundation (www.sdharborpolicefoundation.org) with its mission to HELP THE VULNERABLE.
The foundation's focus includes:

- Perkins Elementary K-8 (www.perkins.sandiegounified.org)
- Human Trafficking
- Officer Wellness
I am raising funds (Goal: $50,000) to help support the San Diego Harbor Police Foundation's (SDHPF) efforts with Perkins Elementary.
These remarkable children (450 students) are in need of:
- Clothing
- Christmas gifts (please click on the video link below regarding “Shop with a Cop”). Drop off address is: 9834 Genesee Ave, suite 128, La Jolla, CA. in case you wanted to drop off or mail gifts in lieu of money.
- $15-$25 gift cards for staff and students so that the parents can purchase gifts for their children
You can donate directly to Perkins Elementary by writing a check, providing gift cards, and/or venmo me (@sean-daneshmandMD). You can also donate Christmas gifts (toys or clothing) OR you can donate to the SDHPF, where your donations are tax deductible.
