Love & Support for Christine Nelson's Memorial
Donation protected
Saying goodbye to a loved one is never easy. Christine L. Nelson was born on June 10th, 1958 and was 63 years old. Christine Nelson, wife of Ronald W. Nelson and mother to Ryan and Cory Nelson has sadly passed away on October 12th, 2021. Chris had a great laugh; she could find humor in everything. She was a dedicated mom who had endless love for her children, Ryan and Cory. Her children were the light of her life. She was a caregiver to her mom and other family members. She was loving and supportive and always took the time to check in on others. Ronald and Christine were married for 40, years and they lived in the Seattle area most of their lives until retiring to the Pembina, North Dakota area in 2017.
Pembina is a very small town two miles from the Canadian border and one mile from the Minnesota border. There are no businesses to speak of, or social services, funeral homes, hospitals, or clinics located in town. The family had to have Chris transported to the nearest town with a funeral home, which is about 40 miles away. The family has been dealing with so much grief through this major loss. The family has also been dealing with the piling bills and medical expenses, not to mention the money needed to lay Christine to rest.
We regrettably ask for much-needed help paying the medical costs, bills, and funeral expenses that cannot be ignored. It hurts that, during a time we should simply be laying Christine to rest, we have to first figure out how to pay for it. We know this is a tough time for everyone, so any help you can offer would mean the world!
A memorial service will be set at a later date.
From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for all the love and support!
Chris's husband, Ron, will be in charge of all the donations and will make sure to distribute them as needed.
