Lori’s Recovery

Hi, my name is Amanda. I’m Lori’s daughter. As many know, my mom was involved in a serious accident which involved a propane explosion in the travel trailer Wednesday morning. My mom suffered serious burns from the explosion. Mom also suffered whiplash, concussion and minor skull fracture from the blast. Mom will undergo surgery tomorrow for the 3rd degree burns at the UofA hospital where they have been admitted and are thankfully together in the same recovery room.

The road to recovery is going to be a long one. She is bravely going through the motions and taking the journey, day by day, hour by hour. Mom will be unable to work for likely many months and the added costs for recovery will be challenging. My hope is to raise funds to mitigate the financial stress of my moms day to day bills upcoming, rehabilitation costs and impending home care costs so she can 100% focus on their recovery.
