Texas Flood Relief

Howdy!

Lone Star Actual is a Texas-based, nonprofit, disaster relief organization dedicated to providing timely and effective aid for those affected by emergencies. We focus on meeting immediate needs for food, water, shelter, and medical care, while also working towards long-term community resilience.

Over half of our staff are veterans and we're all Texans! Wherever we go we represent the great Republic of Texas with the hospitality, respect, work ethic and integrity that is expected.

We’re currently still active with Hurricane Helene relief efforts in western North Carolina and are making a huge difference in people’s lives that were affected. The devastation that occurred late September changed lives and the landscape, but Appalachians are strong and resilient people, and after our initial aid response, and helping them through that winter, we continue to assist with the rebuilding of their new normal.

The recent flash flooding in Texas now has our team divided, as we are now currently in Central Texas assisting with search and recovery, running logistics for our boots on the ground team, coordinating donation drop-off locations in the North Texas area, and establishing supply hubs for responders and affected individuals and families.

This initial stage is crucial to the relief efforts, and as important as supplies and materials are, funding is also extremely important for necessary daily needs like food, water, fuel and other items not yet donated, but desperately needed.
