When & Where:
This November 4-8, my sister Kendra Jo and I will be workshopping the music of our new play, "The Wasp and The Raven" at the prestigious Rose Bruford College with Professor Jeremy Harrison! We could not be more honored, as this play is our love letter to our up-bringing, to folk culture. Will you help us make this incredible opportunity happen?
What:
Jeremy is one of the leading authorities on actor-musicianship in the theatre world and he has invited us to devise the music and movement of our play using the talents of his graduate/undergraduate students. We are SO excited to incorporate Jeremy's methodologies into the heart of our show! We will be joined for the week by our fellow Snowy Mountain Sister, Allison Kelly, who will help us teach the music and facilitate movement exercises in our devising process. We also have the privilege to spend a day sharing with the students our experiences as professional musicians in NYC! It's just going to be so fun and a huge learning opportunity.
Why help?
We are calling on all folks who love roots music to help us propel this music to future generations! We are so happy to share it and we need financial help to make it a reality. You can see past projects that we have produced, financed, and completed with excellence and joy! Check out our original albums on iTunes and Spotify and our official music video featuring the Snowies!

Thank you:
Kendra and I are having so much darn fun being sisters and writing this story together. We have created "The Wasp & The Raven" to celebrate how music comes to us from past generations in our family and has shaped the way we live our lives. We now have this incredible opportunity to push our roots music into the future! Thank you so much for reading and watching the video and for all of your support! It's our legacy and our deepest joy.
