Locker #505: Student Clothing Bank-Helping Kids

Locker#505's yearly fundraiser-our 7th Annual Fashion Show and Silent Auction has been canceled due to COVID-19, this can have a detrimental result in our ability to serve the most vulnerable of our community-children.  Locker # 505:Student's Clothing Bank is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) that clothes students in need throughout Bernalillo County from Kindergarten through 12th grade so they can attend school. We are a student-focused facility that provides comfortable and welcoming surroundings where children can try on and choose outfits they feel good about wearing.
Each student receives a minimum of three complete outfits, five pairs of new socks and underwear, new shoes and when needed a jacket.  At this moment we are not seeing students, however, once the schools open again we anticipate a significant increase in the number of students we serve due to the uncertainty of New Mexico's economy.

Students are referred by school staff, social workers and Albuquerque Fire and Rescue.
