Hi! My name is L'Nya Caldwell and I am currently a Senior at Foxcroft School in Virginia. To give a little information about myself, I used to attend a middle shcool in Harlem, and I decided to join a non-profit organization called Harlem Lacrosse. I have been in this program since I was in the seventh grade, and was on the first's girls middle school lacrosse team ever, in Harlem. At the end of my first year, I was selected to be a candidate as one of the first girls in the program to attend boarding school .

At Foxcroft, I have shown leadership around campus, participated in activities such as one of the school Acapella groups, and I am a starter in goal on the Varsity Lacrosse team. I have been attending this school for my four years of highschool, and am so blessed and thankful that I have had the opportunity to have a better high school education.

I have always wanted to play lacrosse in college. Throught my high school years, I have had the opportunity to play on club teams, and go to lacrosse camps almost every summer. In October, I verbally committed to Roanoke College for lacrosse. It has not only been my dream to play in college, but also attend college and major in computer science. My parents did not get the opportunity to go to college, and I would love to be the first generation in my family.

Unfortunately, there is about 6000$ that my mom would have to pay per year, for my four years at Roanoke. This would be about 24,000$ in total after my four years there. Due to the fact that she is a single parent with no help, it is really hard to pay this kind of money. If you can, please donate or share to help me reach my goal. Thank you!
