Lisa, our cherished mother, wife, sister, daughter, cousin and friend, was recently diagnosed with advanced stages of colon cancer and is preparing for the most important battle of her life.
Lisa is a beautiful, 42-year old loving wife to William Marsh and friend that is the center of our universe. She is also the loving Mother to four beautiful children: Lucca (8), Santino (5), Aureliano (8 months) and Baby Bella, who is smiling down upon us from Heaven. Lisa’s children are her greatest achievement and her pride and joy.
Lisa’s second passion to being a super-mom is helping people in need. She has dedicated her life to helping others. She started young, beginning her career at Mount Sinai at the age of 20, and has spent the last 22 years serving our communities. Her desire to have a greater outreach compelled Lisa to continue her postgraduate studies. While raising her beautiful children and working nights in trauma at Cook County, Lisa went back to school to become a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP).
Dr. Lisa is now an accomplished DNP and educator and has helped hundreds of patients in need. Today she is a medical provider at Cook County where she cares for so many. As an educator, Lisa has helped many students fulfill their dreams of pursuing a career in the medical field. Lisa is adored by her family and friends and has an unbelievable spirit and faith. She is the strongest person we know and has shown unimaginable courage during this extremely difficult time. Having given so much of herself to others over the years, we would like to do anything possible to ease the difficulties inherent with this diagnosis.
Due to the very high costs of treatments and other expenses and the fact that she will be unable to work for an extended period, Lisa and her family are in need of financial support. Any contribution can help Lisa battle this cancer like the strong, fierce and determined warrior that she is and help alleviate the burden of financial worries.
