Line Monkey's Car

Hi. I'm Line Monkey.  I'm also dying. But that's the least of my worries, right now.

You see, dying is fairly easy to do. Trying to survive as long as possible is the hard part. Between medical testing (Hey there, liver, time to get biopsied!), doctor appointments (Is it the pulmonologist, gastroenterologist, urologist, therapist, or primary care physician this time!?), and adjusting to new medications (Is this going to interact with my thyroid meds, my seizure meds, my allergy meds, or any of the other medication I'm on?)... I can't get even a part time job.

But I still need to be able to make it to all those appointments. Which is a real problem when my van up and died... And then my partner's car lost it's transmission...

Good news, though! We got a car! It's a 2017 Kia Soul! But the paperwork got a little messed up and the sales tax wasn't covered by the loan (We were told it would be. And it's our bad for not actually making sure that was covered in the paperwork before we signed. Yes. We know.)... And it has to be registered in 2 more weeks...

So now we have to come up with the funds to pay for the sales tax. So that we can register the car. So that I can get to my appointments. So that I can survive a little longer.

Yeah. It's complicated. I told you before that dying is the easy part of this whole thing...

I know that times are hard for everyone. But I also know that our community is amazing.

And sometimes, just sometimes, miracles happen.

Can we make a miracle one more time?
