Dear Pulte Family and friends,
As you may or may not know, our home closing coordinator, Linda Sandoval, was diagnosed in March of this year, with stage 4 colon cancer and (7) bleeding lesions on her liver. She started chemotherapy right away, but needed a couple of blood transfusions, due to the bleeding lesions. As per her last MRI which was September 2nd, 2020, all tumors have shrunk to an operable size. Although, the liver surgery will be more complicated, due to the location of the lesions.
Unfortunately, New Mexico doesn't have a liver specialist, which will require Linda to travel out of state in October to The Mayo Clinic in Phoenix for the first of (3) surgeries. After her first surgery, she will then need to travel to The Mayo Clinic in Minnesota for a very specialized procedure, which will help regrow her liver. She will then be required to travel out of state at least (2) more times to remove the remaining tumors in the liver and colon. This will transpire over the next couple of months!
We are hoping that this gets her back on her feet and back with us soon!
Through your help, we will be able to help Linda during this very difficult time! Thank you for your support, kind hearts, and generosity! Also, thank you for your thoughts and prayers!
Our goal is $10,000 to assist with medical bills, housing and travel expenses!
Thank you!
