Lillie's Garden (In Memory of Lillie Elliott)
Donation protected
Please help me honor the wonderful life of my mom and consider making a donation to support her lifelong commitment to learning. Lillie was a nurturer, care-giver, and confidence builder to her friends, extended family, children, grandchildren and many others who called her Mom or Nana over her lifetime. As a child therapist for the Wayne County court in Detroit, she counseled hundreds of abused children. She was an angel among us who has taken her place in heaven.
Rather than flowers, we are asking for donations in her honor to this campaign. All funds will support the creation of Lillie's Garden, a quiet kindergarten reading corner in Western Avenue Elementary School library, a school attended by her four grandsons, with a comfy garden themed space and books that inspire confidence and self-worth in kids. Through Lillie's Garden, she will continue to inspire kids and warm their hearts, just as she did in life.
Thank you a million times over for your generous gift.
