Early this year my mother in law Lill Sather was diagnosed with ALS. Needless to say, this was a huge shock to the family . The family has been making trips to Mayo Clinic to see specialists to try to understand how to live with and deal with this disease. It has progressed  rapidly in the last month and we are in the process of figuring out what Mark and Lill will need in order to face this in the best way possible. The costs of construction on their home to transition  the living quarters to be handicapped accessible, combined with the need for home health care, trips back and forth to Mayo, medical equipment, etc will inevitably put a financial strain on Mark and Lill. I am asking for loved ones, family, and friends to help ease this financial strain so they can focus on Lill's comfort and enjoying time with one another, rather than worrying about how something will be paid for.
