Life Altering, near death experience, lost it all

Hello,
Thank you for taking the time to read my story and consider helping
This is for my mother, whom has always done what she could to help others, and is now caught in a position and needs help, but she won’t ask.
she has always worked so hard and always been able to find a way to make life wonderful for those in our lives.
She is college educated, (receiving a BA from the University of Utah in 96), She went on to get married and have 2 beautiful children. She was also very successful in the financial business world.
She is a hard working woman who fell onto medical malfunction that imploded her entire life.
While working very hard, sometimes 60-80 hours a week, her husband at the time became a stay at home father as he could not find work, he eventually went on to go back to school to receive his MBA, so that She would be able to take some time off and slow down and be able to enjoy life a little.
2 1/2 years ago, I went in to see my mom came and found her vomiting blood and passed out, She was rushed to the hospital and fell into a coma. They found two tumors in her liver which resulted in her body and brain filling with ammonia, causing brain bleeds and complete organ failure. She was then put on life support and my family was told that she was suffering and was in severe pain and that she would never recover or regain consciousness.
We signed the life termination forms and were told we could hold her hand and say goodbye once the organ donation team had finalized the organ process to see what would be viable to donate. At that time, one member of the donation team noticed there was enough viable brain activity to warrant placing her back on a feeding tube and back onto life support. The doctors rallied and we fought to help her live. She came out of the coma 2 weeks later, She wasn’t really all there at first, and the stories are quite funny to look back on now, but she was alive and with us. It took her 4 months to relearn to eat, talk, hold a pencil and the hardest thing for her to relearn was to walk, this took almost a year to be able to stand and take a few steps and then to walk on her own.
While gaining the strength to walk, She was finally released from the hospital, after over 238 days in the hospital, She was home and trying to get back to as close as normal as possible and while She was walking daily, She was only up to ten feet at a time without assistance... it’s amazing what we took for granted before and how just taking a step felt like a victory.
At that moment, my father, her husband of 25 years had packed his bags and decided to leave for the woman who had consoled him while she was in the hospital. He took the remaining savings that My mother had worked hard to save and walked out the door. I could go on and on about that, but I am not bitter and it is just a part of the story. However, it is one of the reasons we are in financial distress.
so fast forward to today.
She is now walking, talking and finally strong enough to be alive and happy. And Thriving!!!
She hasn’t been cleared fully for work as she still has the two tumors in her Liver which have caused Chronic Pancreatitis, however, She has been able to keep all of that at bay and I am happy to say She feels like she is ready to get back to work, as She feels stronger everyday and ready to become an active part of society again.
The distress is as follows:
Savings depleted with the illness and medical bills (all in all over 2.2 million, that has been covered by savings etc) but savings gone with my father leaving, In order to try to not have to ask for help and while looking for a job that would work with her situation, she sold everything She has ever owned of value, even down to shoes and all of her furniture. (For those of you that know mom, she loves her shoes!)
We did just move from our home and am currently in a hotel for the weekend and then we are just not sure where we will go, this is what brings me here.
I (Taylour)am currently at UNLV, and have had to help her get back to health as best as I can, she hates that I was the one to have to do this, but I would do it over and over again.
She has been offered a job, but it does not start Until November 15, and they are still making sure that her medical clearance comes through, so she trying for any job interim so she can cover immediate life.
She was a Regional VP of a mortgage lending firm and a Consultant with portfolio lenders for years prior to her illness, so she will one day be back and strong.
I know that she will in turn, turn around and help others as others have helped her.
She has gone through a lot,
She is a survivor,
Not a victim
There is a lot more to the story, and if we hadn’t lived through it, it would seem true. This is in part just the surface of what has happened and I ask humbly for your help and consideration.
Thank you so much
