Liam was born at just 460 grams. A tough survivor of extreme prematurity, chronic lung disease, multiple operations, infections loss of his left leg and is dependent on a tracheotomy tube. Despite this he is a smiling interactive and much loved child. However, Liam has never been home with his parents although he is now over 3 years old. Liam now faces a 4th consecutive Christmas as an inpatient in Our Ladys Hospital for Sick Children Crumlin.
