Last summer we went for a walk with our good friends Kate and Liam. Liam complained about a tingling in his leg and told us about how he kept falling over. Naturally we laughed at him, like true friends would. Liam's symptoms started worsening, and he was referred for tests on the NHS. Ten months later, in March of this year, he was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease at age 34.

Liam is truly one of the most charismatic, vibrant and funny people you could ever hope to meet - the diagnosis is devastating for everyone that knows and loves him.

Liam and Kate are continuing to live life as fully as possible - getting out, travelling, working - but life is full of ever increasing challenges and Liam is now dependent on a wheelchair. Our intention is to raise a sum of money to help them in whatever small way we can. Whether that be for domestic help, quality time together or anything else of value to them.

Our fundraising efforts are absolutely nothing in comparison to what Kate and Liam are going through every day, and any contribution you could make would be so greatly appreciated.
