Send Let's Kick ASS AIDS 2018

2018 International AIDS Conference on AIDS (AIDS2018) is coming up 23-27 July 2018.

As part of a coalition of international organizations Let's Kick ASS has proposed a first-of-its-kind Global Village for Long-Term Survivors and HIV and Aging.

We need to raise $10,000 to allow Let's Kick ASS to pay for our attendance, marketing, and program development attend so he can represent HIV Long-Term Survivors at the conference.

Survivors and Older Adults are consistently shoved to the back of these conferences while we make up the majority of people living with HIV. The focus on Youth programs but exclude Aging with HIV programs. It is pure ageism. I hoped my discussions with stakeholders last year was going make a change, but alas it fell on deaf ears...again.

Tez just can’t afford the trip on his disability income. He is a volunteer making a difference in survivors lives.

We need to pay for registration fees, airline tickets, and pay for the hotel. Plus we need to print posters & materials for the exhibit hall.

We need your help. Please contribute what you can, a soon as you can. Every little bit helps.

#AIDS2018 needs to have an HIV Long-Term Survivors presences at the Conference on AIDS. But without your support, it will not happen.

An estimated 30% of all people living with HIV have been living the virus since 1996 or earlier. They are often called the Forgotten Generation.

We want to put an end to that and ensure that survivors stories, needs, and issues are front and center.

Can you help make that happen?

Thank you!
