Let's Help Kayla
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Benjamin Auger and I have made this GoFundMe in order to raise money for my cousin, Kayla Salerno, after her traumatic injury.
On April 12th, Kayla was horseback riding when she experienced a terrible accident. She was casually enjoying a stroll with her horse Apache when something spooked the horse. This lead to Kayla being knocked off and landing on her back, in the middle of the road, breaking her spine in three separate locations. After some careful examinations with doctors, Kayla is expected to make a full recovery and be able to return to the way that we all know and love her. However, until then, she needs help with everyday living expenses.
This is where you can help. If you know Kayla as I do, you know that she is a kind and thoughtful person who gets along with everyone. She is hardworking, honest, and driven to her goals. No matter how tough the obstacle, I have always known her to keep pushing through until the end. Kayla has always heald great pride for her country and has sworn into the Army National Guard and was set to leave for Fort Jackson in South Carolina on May 25th. Her recovery is going to be long and hard, but I have no doubt she will come out of this experience stronger than ever before. If you have any charity in your heart, we ask you to donate to our cause so that she can focus all of her energy on recovering. Kayla is looking at not just surgery, but also weeks of physical therapy, and if we can take even a small amount of pressure off of her shoulders, healing will be a much easier process for her.
If you are unable to donate, sharing this GoFundMe does us a huge favor by expanding our reach to more people. Thank you and let's help Kayla
