She Survived the Fire – Now She Needs Us to Fight With Her.

On Memorial Day, our lives were forever changed. My best friend - our rock and the heart of our home - suffered a horrific accident.

While using a smoker, a sudden fire exploded out, engulfing her arms, chest, neck, and face. She was literally lit on fire, and worst of all… the children saw everything.

She was rushed to the trauma bay, but her injuries were so severe that she had to be transferred to a burn center nearly 2 hours away. She’s now in excruciating pain, battling a high fever and infection, and none of the pain medications have worked.

Her Faith Is Unshakable

Even while suffering, her faith in God has never wavered.

She’s praised Jesus through the fire, through the pain, and through every single trial. Nurses and doctors have said they’ve never seen strength like hers - her peace, her prayers, and her unwavering faith have been an inspiration to everyone around her.

She is a true light in the darkness.

The Life We Built — And the Burden Now

In October, we made a big decision: to move in together and raise our children under one roof with a shared dream of building a life of faith, freedom, and eventually, owning land.

I pay the mortgage while she pays the utilities, groceries, gas, car payments, and feeds the animals.

She homeschools all 4 children (her 3 and my 1) and also cares for her children's father, who’s been battling cancer since December 2023.

Now, with her gone, her children's father and I are doing our best to hold it all together. But…

The kids are hurting, opening the fridge hoping for something that isn’t there
