Lets Help The Robertson Family

Dear Friends and ETU Members,

We are reaching out to you today with heavy hearts and an urgent appeal. Our brother and fellow ETU member, Ben 'Robbo' Robertson, who works as our Storeman out of the Pakenham depot, is facing a devastating challenge. His beloved wife, Jules, was involved in a serious car accident a few weeks ago, which resulted in her being airlifted to the hospital in critical condition. The severity of her injuries means that the road to recovery will be long and arduous.

As you can imagine, this sudden and tragic event has turned Ben's world upside down. With Jules requiring intensive medical care and rehabilitation, Ben is dedicating all his time and energy to being there for his wife and their family during this incredibly tough time.

Ben has always been a dedicated and hardworking member of our ETU family, and now it’s our turn to support him. We, the UCS ETU Members, are kindly asking our members to show their solidarity and support for Ben by donating the sum of one hour of their overtime pay to help give Ben and his family some much-needed breathing room. Your generous contributions will go directly towards covering medical expenses, rehabilitation costs, and everyday living expenses, allowing Ben to focus on what matters most—being there for Jules and supporting his family.

No contribution is too small, and every bit helps. Let’s come together and show our unity with Ben in these challenging times. Your support will make a significant difference and provide Ben with the strength to face the difficult days ahead.
