Nuestra querida mamá, Leticia Rojas, fue una mujer amorosa, bondadosa y profundamente dedicada a su familia. Esposa de Oscar Gomez y madre de cuatro hijos (Juan, Keven, Brenda y Osmar), quienes siempre fueron su mayor motor y alegría. Fue una mujer trabajadora, de fe católica y con un corazón lleno de amor por quienes la rodeaban.
Durante los últimos 2 meses, Leticia enfrentó una enfermedad grave llamada Fibrosis que afectó sus pulmones, su hígado y su salud en general, lo que la llevó a necesitar un doble trasplante. Lamentablemente, su cuerpo se debilitó aún más luego de la aparición de una infección en su sangre que comprometió su corazón, y no logró resistir.
Hoy, con profundo dolor, despedimos a una madre increible que dejó una huella imborrable en nuestras vidas.
Como familia, queremos cumplir uno de sus deseos más importantes: despedirla en su iglesia local, La Santa del Popolo en Mundelein, como un reflejo de la fe que siempre la acompañó en su vida. Por esta razón, además de los gastos funerarios, debemos cubrir los costos de la ceremonia religiosa y todo lo necesario para darle una despedida digna y acorde a lo que ella hubiera querido.
En medio de este difícil momento, acudimos a ustedes con humildad para pedir su apoyo. Estamos recaudando fondos para poder cubrir estos gastos. Pero si no pueden donar hoy, agradecemos qué nos ayuden compartir esta campaña.

Our beloved mother, Leticia Rojas, was a loving, kind, and deeply devoted woman to her family. Wife of Oscar Gomez and mother of four children (Juan, Keven, Brenda, and Osmar), who were always her greatest motivation and joy. She was a hardworking, Catholic woman with a heart full of love for those around her.
Our mother faced a serious illness called Fibrosis that affected her lungs and liver. She would need a double transplant in order to remove the disease. Unfortunately, her body became weaker over the last few months which eventually led to a heart valve infection. Her body was not able to fight it off.
Today, we say goodbye to an incredible mother who left an unforgettable mark on our lives.
As a family, we want to fulfill one of her most important wishes: to say goodbye to her at her local church, La Santa Maria del Popolo in Mundelein, as a reflection of the faith she carried. For this reason, we are asking for donations to cover the costs of the religious ceremony, and everything necessary, to give her a dignified farewell according to what she would have wanted.
