LetAllGirls. Providing education to girls in SSD
Donation protected
Hey!
We're LetAllGirls, a movement ignited by Didi Ding Mayen Kuai in 2022 with a mission to break barriers by promoting educational access and empower girls through education, starting in South Sudan where Didi herself was born and raised.
In South Sudan, too many girls are denied the right to dream and learn. Many are forced into early marriages, denying them the chance to pursue education or career paths. In fact, a staggering two out of three women in South Sudan are illiterate.
Despite facing immense obstacles and backlash from her own community, Didi persevered. She became one of the only girls to graduate high school and attend college in America (at Babson College).
Determined to change the narrative, Didi founded LetAllGirls, pledging to ensure no girl faces the same challenges she did.
Since 2022, LetAllGirls has made incredible strides. Mentoring over 600 girls through book & mentorship clubs, teaching them vital skills like making reusable sanitary pads, all the while fostering community conversations to break down traditional barriers to education.
And it's working! Enrollment rates for girls are on the rise, paving the way for countless success stories in South Sudan.
It's with a heavy heart that the Babson and South Sudan communities continue to remember Didi following her passing. Her vision for a brighter more equitable future inspired hundreds, who now pledge to keep her vision for LetAllGirls alive.
Your donation is an investment in the very future that Didi envisioned. Together, we can nurture the next generation of women leaders across all industries.
Join us in re-writing the story for girls in South Sudan and beyond.
