Less Faith not Faithless, unhealthy skin removal

Over the past few years, we’ve had the privilege of watching Faith transform before our very eyes! By God’s strength, Faith has found freedom from the bondage of food and is walking out a healthy lifestyle as an inspiration to us all!
Faith resided in a “right-sized body,” her senior year of high school through most of her Sophomore year of college, until tragedy struck her life in 2001. Faith’s older brother Jake died by suicide sending her into a whirlwind of grief, causing Faith to misuse food once again. While continuing to love and serve the Lord, Faith admits she abused food for nearly 2 decades as a way to handle her emotions.
In 2019, Faith had a conversation with the Lord before she started the My Peak Challenge program in which she said, “Ok God. This is my last shot. If this doesn’t work, I’m giving up. I’ll just live in this unhealthy body.”
From a place of full surrender, Faith daily worked her program of healthy eating and exercise to lose an enormous amount of weight and gain substantial muscle! God has used Faith’s obedience to heal her from the inside out.
Faith has also been a natural athlete. In high school and college, she excelled in the shot put and rugby. Now, Faith has found that inner athlete again. In order to move at full capacity and feel comfortable in her new forever body, Faith needs surgery to remove excess skin.
To know Faith is to love her. Her laughter is contagious and her joy fills every room she enters. As a way of showing Faith how proud we are of her and thank her for being such an inspiration, her friends are starting a go fund me account to help Faith with the cost of surgery.

Though we once regarded Christ in this way, we do so no longer. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!
