On Monday February 13th 2017 9:15am a wonderful nurse and wonderful person, Leslie Steinhoff passed away. There is not much information at this point. She was at work in the burn unit at Grady and was found collapsed.I know that everyone loved Leslie.
Leslie is the most beautiful, intelligent, caring and thoughtful person I have ever met. She was amazing with her patient's and built bonds with all her patient families. She believed in Marty, her fiancé, at all times, unwavering in her love and support. Leslie was always positive hopeful and kind. She was a loving mother and provider. She worked at many hospitals as an ICU nurse helping and touching many life's including her co-workers. She was extremely excited to be back at Grady Memorial Hospital working in the ICU Burn unit. She was loved and extremely respected by all her co-workers. There are not enough words to describe how amazing Leslie is. She is incredibly beautiful inside and out. She would light up a room by walking in or just smiling.
This money will go to benefit her daughter and family in their time of need and grieving.
