“I am raising money for a charity that helped look after me when I had surgery on my heart. The Children’s Heart Surgery Fund have a playroom on the hospital ward and they lend toys and games to help distract children when they’re in hospital. I got a tray of toys to play with when I was having ECGs, echocardiograms, and other tests that made me feel scared. The CHSF play workers, nurses, and toys (see photos!) helped to keep me happy and busy when I couldn’t get out of bed.

I am going to climb the biggest mountain in Yorkshire – Whernside! I hope you will sponsor me to raise money for CHSF. I will be doing it with Mummy and Daddy. We will choose a weekend with good weather between now and March 2026 so we stay safe at the top!

This is my way of saying thank you to CHSF for everything they did for me and for other children with poorly hearts.
