Who am I and why am I going to Vietnam?

Hi, my name is Leila, I'm 13 and I'm fundraising for a trip of a life time to Vietnam with World Challenge. World Challenge is a company that offers extraordinary opportunities and trips of a life time for young people.

World Challenge support local communities world wide and will teach me and others who are participating life skills and experiences that we will carry through our lives. As a group we will be undertaking projects and challenges that support local communities. This will give me a further understanding of how other people undergo their everyday lives and will widen perception of our 2 different cultures.

Why is it important to help fund me to go to Vietnam?

As well as supporting local communities, it will raise awareness for the protection of the Vietnamese environment and culture.

How am I going to raise money?

As a triathlete, I'm going to swim cycle and run the distance between London and Hanoi airports, 9,000km. I will achieve this by July 2027.

I will provide evidence of my progress using my fitness app, Coros, on a weekly basis.
