Honor Jess’s Legacy, Support Ayani’s Future.

On Friday August 29th, our world changed forever when we lost our beloved Jess, a beautiful soul who was a daughter, sister, cousin, friend, artist, and most of all, a devoted mother. Jess’s strength, humor, and love touched everyone she met. She lived fiercely, loved deeply, and left behind a light that will never dim.

From the moment she was diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer in 2021, Jess never gave up hope. She faced every surgery, round of chemotherapy, radiation, immunotherapy, and clinical trial with courage and determination. Even when the cancer returned in 2024 as Stage 4, Jess never stopped believing in the possibility of healing. She found comfort in laughter, in music, in the healing energy of prayer and positive vibes, and in holding space with the people she loved most.

This past March, Jess shared her journey in her own words:

“This is not a fight. This is not a battle. This is something that my body created, for whatever reason, and I honestly believe that it’s something my body can heal from… Is it going to be easy? No. This is going to be the hardest thing I’ve ever done. But, I believe it can and will happen. If you believe in the power of prayer, please pray for me. If you don’t, that’s ok! Send some healing vibes into the universe for me because I know this is not something I can do on my own!”

Jess’s determination, her hope, and her unshakable willpower will forever be part of her legacy.

Now, that legacy lives on through her daughter, Ayani. At just 15 years old, Ayani is beginning high school while facing the heartbreaking loss of her mother. Jess’s deepest wish was that Ayani would always be supported, guided, and reminded of how loved she is.

This fundraiser is dedicated to making sure Ayani has the support she needs, not just now, but for the future Jess always dreamed of for her: stability through high school, preparation for college, and everything in between.
