LeahAndMylosJourney Need Help with Vet Bills

IVDD WARRIOR  NEEDS HELP FOR HIS HUMAN. Mylo is his mom's pride and joy. He fills his mom and  grandma's heart with love. Mylo was rescued by his beautiful Doggie Mom Leah in 2011. They immediately had a strong and beautiful bond.  In May of 2012 after Mylo hurt himself his mom found out he had Intervertebral Disk Disease (IVDD) which is a slipped disk.  Since this was a severe case of IVDD Mylo required emergency surgery. With therapy, consistency and love he recovered pretty quick. Leah and Mylo have been enjoying life together. They celebrate birthdays, take trips together, go to the baseball park, and enjoy other pet friendly outings together.

During a Friendsgiving Leah hosted in her home, on Thanksgiving of 2019, Mylo started shivering uncontrollably. After a visit to the vets office it was found that Mylo was suffering from IVDD complications. Once again it was urgent for Mylo to undergo a second surgery in December of 2019. After the surgery the concerns duplicated; for one he had no movement on his back legs and could not walk.  Although, he was unable to urinate on his own, he was sent home with a catheter to empty his bladder. This was difficult and painful for both. The usual spunky Mylo was very down and it showed. Not only was his recuperation progress a lot slower his therapy started even later than expected.   As a possible result of the surgery , that same month, a white foggy spot was visible on his eye. It was found to be an ulcer which caused a ruptured cornea that required eye surgery to repair. His little resilient self, started recovering from that pretty well. He was cleared to continue with therapy for his legs and then the COVID-19 shutdown happened.  Mylos was delayed to continue his therapy and therefore delayed progress to gain complete use of his back legs.  While at home, Leah and Mylo working on doing water therapy. Like any other living being that does not have use of their legs they need to be assisted with everything you can think of. Then in June of this year Mylo starting having similar problems with his second eye! Can you imagine? Although, he had a less severe ulcer that is most commonly due to aging, it required surgery again. This little man has been so blessed to have a mom that cares for him so much. I am sure many of you reading this can imagine how much she loves her fur baby.  Mylo is a  fighter. Check out his Instagram page @mylomylove915 where you can see for yourself the progress, the sunglasses, the night strolls on his wheels, the pool therapies, and him living life with his mom. They both give one another the  love and strength to get through anything

I hope you have taken the time to read to this point. I ask you you wholeheartedly for your help to raise money to help this amazing fur mommy pay the costly vet bills for the last three procedures Mylo had.  ANYONE that knows Leah knows that she is a selfless human being with a giving heart. She gives her time, her love, her knowledge to anyone in need of help.  Now, she needs help, which of course, she'd never ask. We all know that vet bills are extremely high, but if everyone reading this can help with a small amount I am sure it will make a huge difference.
