January 24th will always be the worst day of my life. The day I lost a part of myself I will never get back. This is Ryland, my 19-year-old firstborn son, the oldest of four. Ryland left behind three younger brothers and much more family.
I am trying to raise money for funeral costs, headstone, grave plot, and other expenses that have come up for this unexpected loss. Ryland was an amazing soul deep down. I struggle with mental illness very badly, and unfortunately, I gave him that trait. I wish I could take it away from him so he would be here today.
Thank you in advance for any help that is given, or if you can’t give anything, just pray for our family as this was a terrible, unexpected loss. I’m not sure how long I will be away from work, so the bills will be piling up as we try to process and go through this difficult time.
I also ask, other than prayers for our family, for everyone to be more kind to each other. If you know someone that is struggling with a mental illness, keep checking on them and do whatever you can to help or get them help. Mental health is so important and not something to be ashamed of if you struggle. Thank you again for whatever help you can send to our family. Viewing is Thursday January 30th 5pm-8pm and Friday January31st 11am-12pm services are Friday January 31st at 12pm at Taylor and Cowan in Tipton! Thank you for blessing our family
