Hey, my name is Laura and I am the mom of two wonderful little kids.

After many years of putting my interests on hold, in September I start an Aquatic conservation master at UCL!

I have a strong interest in water environments and their conservation, having studied a Zoology undergraduate 9 years ago.

After a difficult year behind, a few corporate jobs and shut doors later, I feel ready to give myself the chance to flourish doing something I love, and for an incredible cause which is the conservation of our fragile fresh water ecosystems.

But student finance will only cover some of the university fees! I stepped down from corporate and found a retail job, to work around kids and studying.

This year I have also been diagnosed with adhd and am on a journey to discover if I also have autism: with my career leap I want to break the mold to highlight that neurodivergencies are only societal constraints, they are in fact incredible superpowers and should not stop us from achieving goals in life, especially as parents!

Help me turn my life around, a little will go an incredibly long way.
