Cancer Costs Killing more than Cancer Itself
Donation protected
8 years ago Lauren Kinkead was a successful Software Engineer with a steady income at a job she loved, healthy 401K, beautiful home, good health, an active, vital person and mother of incredible triplet girls. Then she got Breast Cancer.
Today her Cancer has spread to her back and hip. She is in daily pain. For almost a year, she raging mouth infection, loss of teeth and is in need of much dental work. Her bones are deteriorating from Cancer medication. Her 401K is empty. She has bills she can't pay. And now she is losing her home where she raised her triplet girls as a single mom.

CANCER BILLS FAR EXCEED DISABILITY INCOME.
Lauren was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer in 2013. Lauren has survived and is thankful each day for living on “borrowed time” ( her type of Cancer has about a 5 year life expectancy) and she knows how very lucky she is. Lauren's health has been taken away from her and – to add insult to injury – her home has gone into FORECLOSURE and is scheduled for Sheriff's Sale on April 20th (her birthday).

I can NOT sit idly by and watch this foreclosure unfairness – after so much unfairness - happen to such a sweet, loving soul.
Lauren has worked very hard and was very independent until her Cancer has progressively drained her, especially financially.
Before Cancer, Lauren graduated Cum Laude in Computer Science and Math and scored in the top 10,000th of the nation for logical ability on the MRE examinations for graduate school. Lauren worked for 26 years as a Software Engineer designing, writing, and implementing software systems ranging from Water Treatment Systems, a Las Vegas gaming system, and rewriting an entire Dental Processing Pension and Retirement system. Lauren was active in her triplet girls life. One thing Lauren did was coach her daughter's soccer team (her girls were 1/3 of the team!). And Lauren has always been involved in the artistic community.

After Cancer, Lauren has gone through so many surgeries and procedures and has endured a lot of pain. She is now on a small fixed income which is a drop in the bucket compared to the expenses of 8 years of Cancer Treatments. Lauren has the following outstanding debts caused by her Cancer:
• PET scans, CT Scans, Surgeries, surgeries, medications, etc.
• Dentist, Endodontist, and Oral Surgeon because of her Cancer medication.
• Years of back taxes for the IRS and the State of Minnesota (disability payments get taxed)
• FORECLOSURE – Filed 2/28.
If you can please help Lauren - it will be a huge relief for her. In some ways her financial problems are harder on her than her physical problems and uncertainty. If you would like proof of Cancer, Surgeries, Foreclosure, etc...then believe me...there's a ton of documentation I would be more than willing to share with you. The goal amount includes help with foreclosure. Much love to you!
