Damien Mander's Anti-Poaching Unit

As many of you might have heard, because of the lifting of the ban on rhino horn sales in South Africa, poaching has skyrocketed in the region and our beloved rhino, elephant and other endangered species are paying a heavy price… with their lives.

One man who has done arguably more for the stellar training of Africa's anti-poaching rangers is our friend, Damien Mander of I.A.P.F.   His success with bringing back the rhino along the Mozambique border is almost legendary!

To meet the recent rise in poaching attacks, Damien is forming a new Anti-Poaching Unit; one that will shock everyone when it’s revealed - but we can say no more for now.   We heard his plan for this team and we are 100% behind him, so we’ve committed to helping him raise the funds needed to locate, train, equip and implement this elite APU team to become the last line of defense for the rhino, elephants, big cats and pangolin being hunted to extinction - it’s literally open season.

We're raising our A-game to help - and we can only do it with your continued support.   We’ll reveal as much as we can as Damien feels it’s safe to do so, but helping to keep these new rangers safe will be the focus of this fundraiser - it’s an exciting prospect that you will be so PROUD to have backed when we are able to reveal the squad!

Thank you for continuing to support Over and Above Africa’s mandate of connecting a global community through micro-financing to help end poaching through #AffordablePhilanthropy.
