Larry Cook Cancer Fund

This is probably the hardest thing I have ever had to write in my life. I am so very sad to inform you that my father, Larry Cook has been diagnosed with stage four metastatic pancreatic cancer. For those of you not familiar with the disease, it is a very aggressive debilitating illness that has already spread to multiple places in his body. He has very little energy, strength or appetite.  It also doesn't leave my Dad with a whole lot of time. 
In the days to come he will be enduring some pretty aggressive treatment and we are faced with many hardships. Larry is currently unable to work due to his illness and understandably so. He has no form of income and is unable to collect disability. Our family is faced with having to help with all of his expenses from simple things such as food and gas to complicated things like medical expenses, rent and any arrangements we need to make in the future. This is an unsustainable effort and we are turning to you, his circle of extended family and friends in a moment of desperation to ask for your help.
For those of you who are truly blessed to know my father you will know that my Dad has lived a life of service, helping all of those in need who may have crossed his path. My Dad would put him self out to help  a person or animal he didn't even know. It's time to pay it forward and help a man who has touched so many lives.
Anything helps. We are asking for those who are able to make a monetary donation to do so on this site. For those of you who are not able, we ask that if you can help in another way it would also be greatly appreciated. Bringing food or prepared meals, helping in small ways, or just spending some time with a friend in need.
