Larry Harvey's COVID Recovery Fund

Just over a week ago Larry contracted covid. He did what he could to get through this at home but last Friday, September 3 he was admitted to the Stoughton hospital Covid ICU. After a week of degrading health and contracting pneumonia, along with identifying other undiagnosed complications after admission, his doctors decided to put him on a ventilator the morning of September 9th due to plummeting oxygen levels. This is when calls started to get out about his condition and where we as his family and loved ones poured in over time with prayer! By the evening of the 9th, Larry had started breathing on his own against the ventilator! His respiration rate & oxygen saturation levels are stable. Larry’s doctors decided to keep him on sedation and pain relievers. Thankfully the team in charge of his care are very forward-thinking in their approach to handling his situation and are continuing with COVID specific meds plus steroids for his lungs and vitamins C, D and Zinc.. (and many others)

 

As of this evening  this fundraiser is being posted (September 10th), He has spent the prior night and today on his belly, the best position for his lungs. He is currently stable with no fever and his oxygen levels are good. His heart is in a low irregular rhythm which is not harming the muscle but something they are watching closely... also his blood sugar needs to stabilize, they are working on a nutrition plan starting today. Please pray for the support, protection and healing/regeneration of his lung tissue as that is what has taken the hardest hit. They are keeping a close eye on him, as he is using his energy to fight and to heal.

 

He is certainly not giving up, nor are we. I urge you to first pray and if God inspires you to do so you can send some financial help to him to bless larry in his time of need. He has been through so much, it is our turn to support him with our love, support and prayers.

 

Much of Larry’s life has been dedicated to helping others. His life and ministry have been responsible for teaching tons of young people about God over many years in Chicago.

He has been actively ministering to a fellowship in Stoughton Wisconsin, and we ask you to keep a mental picture of his return to that role in your mind as you pray in the spirit. So many people have been touched because of the love of this man, and have been joined into a relationship with God and there are many more that will benefit from the ministry that the father has entrusted to him.

 

Finally, the nurse asked me if there was a message she could relay to Larry, As we have already relay that his family is petitioning for expedited healing on his behalf, we would be glad to pass on your comments below to him as soon as he can read them.
