Supply Alex with a larger mobility pram

Hi my name is Charlee and i am a mum to an amazing little boy called Alex who is 9 years old. Alex has autism, PDA and hypermobilty. This causes him many challenges in the community and going out can be very difficult for Alex. He suffers with pain in his legs

and feet due to his hypermobilty and can not walk far, so therefore still requires a pram to get to and from school or go on days out.

He currently has a special tomato EIO

mobility pram which i paid for using his

DLA at a cost of £800, but he is fast out growing it and is almost at the

maximum weight limit. Therefore he

desperately needs a larger mobility

pram, but unfortunately this comes with the large cost of £2,500. I have

currently managed to save £1,000

out of his DLA but this has taken me 4

months as he needs other stuff each month. I have tried going through charities, but they either aren't taking

on any more applications or won't grant the amount required for a suitable pram.

I'm not the sort of person to ask for

help with anything and in fact i am the type of person who will be the first to help others if i can, so for me to ask for help takes a lot. But i am

desperate to supply my son with what

he needs and without your help Alex

wouldn't be able to get to school or

enjoy days out. His pram is literally his

lifeline and offers him so much more

than just somewhere to sit when his

legs get too tired or start hurting. It's a

safe space when the outside world

gets too much, too crowded, too noisy

ect.

So i'm asking for your help to provide

this for my little boy, so he can

continue to live an easier life in a world

that he finds so difficult.
