Dear friends, family, and community,
It is with profound sadness that we share the heartbreaking news of Jerry Lapp's passing on Tuesday, November 5. He left us unexpectedly while doing something he deeply loved—riding his mountain bike. His passing was sudden yet peaceful, surrounded by the beauty of nature and the joy of the ride. Jerry was a man who truly lived life to the fullest, always pushing the boundaries of adventure and inspiring everyone around him to find their own spark. His kindness, energy, and love for life have left a lasting impact on all who knew him.
Now, we’re reaching out to everyone whose lives he touched to support his beloved wife, Mary Ellen, and their three children, Anabelle (22), Henry (19), and Maisy (17), as they navigate this unimaginable loss. We hope to provide them with a strong foundation of care and stability as they grieve and begin to heal.
Jerry’s passion for adventure, especially on his bike, was matched only by his dedication to his family and friends. He spent his life encouraging us to seek out joy, embrace challenges, and live fully. Now, we have a chance to honor his legacy by coming together to support the people he loved most.
Any donation, big or small, is greatly appreciated and will go directly toward helping Mary Ellen, Anabelle, Henry, and Maisy as they get their feet underneath them. It will offer them a stronger financial foundation as they navigate the coming days, weeks, and months ahead and adjust to life without Jerry. Your kindness and generosity will help ease their journey ahead, and allow them more space to focus on healing. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for standing with them and for celebrating the incredible life Jerry lived.
Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and love during this challenging time.
