Lan Kiley gave birth to her first born, and beautiful baby boy, Ty Kiley, on August 8th, 2021. She caught COVID-19 two days after giving birth to Ty. While recovering from the delivery and postpartum, her symptoms became worse. On Friday, August 20th, she was having escalated shortness of breath and her blood oxygen level plummeted. She was rushed to the ER at South Seminole Hospital and put on oxygen and remained stable. By Saturday morning, her doctors intubated and put her on a ventilator.

As her condition became worse, she was airlifted to Orlando Health Regional Medical Center in Orlando Florida for additional treatment and later to Advent Health Orlando for ECMO Treatment. Today, September 11th, she is being transferred to UPenn Hospital in Pennsylvania. She hasn't been able to spend more than 48 hours with her newborn.

Lan and her family need all the support as she continues to fight COVID-19 pneumonia with Tim, Ty, her family and her friends by her side.

If you know Lan or have had the chance to spend even a small amount of time with her, you know she may be small but has the biggest heart and would do anything for anyone. She has always been an amazing wife, mother, aunt, friend, colleague, sister, and more.
