In the wake of the devastating Lahaina wildfire sweeping through the cherished historic old town, our community is uniting to extend crucial support to our team members and their families profoundly affected. This fire has not only claimed buildings and memories but has also disrupted the lives of hardworking employees who call this place home. Fortunately, we are relieved that all of our 20 employees are safe, however we have several who are in hostels or other emergencies shelters due to their evacuations. Some may be able to return to their apartments and some will not due to their destruction. Some will have work in our remaining store when it reopens, but many will likely be unemployed and unable to find new jobs, requiring them to leave their friends and life behind and relocate to other parts of the island or mainland.

We are relieved and grateful to share that all our employees are safe and accounted for in the wake of the Maui wildfire. The safety of our team remains our top priority, and we are immensely thankful to the courageous first responders and all those who lent a helping hand during this challenging time.

Unfortunately, based on the GoFund Me settings, we do not want to assign one staff member as beneficiary, but please know that 100% of the donations will be distributed among our team who are suffering from this event.
