La Morada Restaurant, located at 308 Willis Ave, Bronx, NY, opened its doors in 2009 with a simple goal: to preserve our indigenous values within the South Bronx. Today, La Morada has evolved beyond serving the community as a restaurant. It has become a revolutionary space: a mutual aid kitchen, an educational venue for local students and community members to participate in workshops, and a hub where art and activism intersect. As a result, our programs and activities have expanded significantly, and our physical space has become insufficient for our work. Like a rootbound plant, we have outgrown our current location and urgently need your support to continue our mission in a larger space. With renovations currently underway, we anticipate reopening by the end of spring 2026.
