¡CONSTRUYAMOS LA PRIMERA ESCUELITA DE AGROFORESTERÍA EN CLIMA MEDITERRÁNEO!

Desde 2005, la Asociación de Permacultura de las Islas Pitiusas (APIP) trabaja en Ibiza por la regeneración de ecosistemas y la difusión de prácticas de permacultura y agricultura regenerativa. Actualmente, en nuestra finca de 5 hectáreas hemos creado un centro vivo de experimentación, basado en la agroforestería y la agricultura sintrópica, gestión del agua, variedades locales, recuperación de saberes ancestrales, voluntariados y formaciones.

En 2023, tras más de una década de práctica y aprendizaje, dimos un paso decisivo: fundamos el primer Centro de Formación, Investigación y Demostración en Agroforestería Sucesional y Agricultura Sintrópica adaptado al clima mediterráneo y, junto a él, creamos el Comando Agroforestal, una red de técnicos, agricultores y activistas que colabora estrechamente con el centro. Ambas iniciativas están unidas por el mismo propósito: demostrar que es posible cultivar alimentos regenerando suelos, restaurando biodiversidad y construyendo paisajes resilientes.

Nuestro centro agroforestal ya es un espacio vivo de aprendizaje y comunidad, donde personas de distintos lugares vienen a compartir conocimientos, inspirarse y aprender a regenerar sus territorios mediante las diferentes actividades que se realizan.

Soñamos ahora con fortalecer este proyecto construyendo un aula que sea un refugio para el saber y nos permita dar formaciones durante todo el año, pudiendo acoger nuestras actividades, encuentros, talleres y diferentes capacitaciones a refugio de las inclemencias climáticas.

¿Por qué construir un aula para nuestra escuelita?

El interés por estos modelos agrícolas crece cada año. Para responder a esta demanda, necesitamos construir un aula polivalente que será el corazón pedagógico del proyecto:

• Espacio protegido para cursos y talleres en cualquier época del año.

• Capacidad ampliada para más estudiantes y mejores formaciones.

• Biblioteca viva de agroforestería y agroecología, abierta a todos.

• Punto de encuentro comunitario para actividades culturales.

• Infraestructura adaptada para combinar teoría, práctica y aprendizaje colectivo.

Let’s Build the First Little School of Agroforestry in the Mediterranean!

Since 2005, the Permaculture Association of the Pityusic Islands (APIP) has been working in Ibiza to regenerate ecosystems and share knowledge on permaculture and regenerative agriculture.

On our 5-hectare learning farm, we’ve created a vibrant living laboratory — a place where agroforestry and syntropic agriculture, water management, local seed preservation, ancestral wisdom, volunteering, and hands-on training come together to heal the land and inspire change.

In 2023, after more than a decade of learning and experimentation, we took a major step forward:

we founded the first Training, Research & Demonstration Center in Successional Agroforestry and Syntropic Agriculture adapted to the Mediterranean climate.

Alongside it, we launched the Comando Agroforestal — a network of technicians, farmers, and activists working together to restore soils, biodiversity, and resilience across our landscapes.

Both initiatives share the same purpose: to demonstrate that it is possible to grow food while regenerating soils, restoring biodiversity, and building resilient landscapes.

Our center is already a living, breathing classroom where people from around the world come to learn, share, and reconnect with nature.

Now, we dream of building a permanent classroom — a true refuge for knowledge, where learning can continue all year round, sheltered from the elements.
