As a mother and wife I have always tried to put the needs of my family first no matter what. Though, through the years it's become a struggle to balance life, family and a full time job. All I pray for is to be able to provide for my children and balance my life better. These last 7 months have broken me, molded me and made me stronger in my faith, closer to my family and shown me how gracious God can be.
Struggling to make ends meet with a family business that supports not only my family, but three families. I have taken over this business since my brother went to Federal Prison for some financial mistakes. This all started in September and as if this were not challenging enough we now have another challenge...
On March 10th our precious Lucas, only 5, has been diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. Not only an incredible shock, but a heart wrenching and overwhelming diagnosis for someone so young. We now face a lot of medical bills and medication costs that we honestly are not sure we can afford.
There are all of these amazing opportunities for children and adults with diabetes that would exponentially help make their lives better and more manageable, but they come at such significant cost. We just pray that someday we will have the resources and funds to provide these opportunities for our son. Any prayers, support or financial help would be beyond amazing and we would be forever grateful. Thank you for taking the time to read our story. God Bless!
