Help Keep a Roof over LTV’s Head!

Local TV, Inc. (LTV) is a public access television station in the Town of East Hampton, NY. We are a Not for Profit 501c3 serving the East End of Long Island. We run two channels, 24/7 on the Altice (Cablevision) network. LTV is considered a PEG station which means we have public access television on one channel and educational and government meetings on the other. Here is our predicament: Plain and simple, the LTV building needs a new roof.

LTV owns the building and rents the land from the Town of East Hampton. It is a corrugated airplane hangar type building with offices and studios. After 30 years the roof is aging out. We’ve done several repairs on it already and have been told that it’s time. During heavy rains we have water leaking in several parts of the building.

We’ve gotten estimates from several companies who handle commercial buildings and estimates start at 236k up to 356k.

As a Not for Profit, those numbers are not within reach. We are seeking loans and grants plus donations to help offset loan possibilities.
